There is a large number of organisations and NPO initiatives operating across South East Asia, often in isolation and often relying purely on the goodwill of volunteers and the generosity of individuals. Their efforts and activities are innovative, relevant, necessary and often simple; yet their effectiveness and impact can often be limited due to lack of funding, lack of access – to resources, skills, decision makers - and lack of awareness.
They are proactively seeking partners, sponsors, collaborators and skills to maximise their efforts and create the difference they’re so passionate to make.
On the other side of this we find businesses and brands who directly or indirectly cause damage to the environment, climate or peoples livelihood, and who are looking for programs, plans or initiatives to help them offset some of the negative impact; or to help change their operations or processes all together for the better.
They range from brands who already have defined the role their CSR programs can and should play and are looking for channels and opportunities to bring them to life – to brands who know they should be doing something for people and planet, but don’t know where to start.
